surreal day. even though i was bouncing around like a nervous jack rabbit coordinating the weigh off to my best ability and still having fun...i managed to get 2 new personal bests today. as christy and JT would say..."sweet"!!!! and sweet it was...as in ken sweet!! a privileage and honor to see his world record tying bohemeth less than 1 mile from where i grew up as a kid. awesome pumpkin bigger than i dreamed they could ever get, and his 1605 was damn cool to see too on the scale today too. great people from all over the midwest came today to compete and have fun....thanks to joe platte and congrats on his 1420...we were the first 2 there this morning and himself and the michigan boys took over and helped us out big time with advise and technical help...thank you...it means a lot to us. also loved meeting the godfather...cool cat....and john hopkins and chris stevens were as good as people as they come and was great having them at our event. i walked by someone who looked like nick harp...and it was nick harp...lol. it was a weird day to have these fellow growers i have only seen online in pictures and meet them live....i liked it. lol. very cool people. very cool day.
