Clare with her winning pumpkin. Its a long story with this plant. She picked it out and it was Don's 1622 seed. We planted it outside and a storm broke it almost completely off. I told her I better pull it and she said no. so we propped it back up and covered it again. It was a long time before it took off and way behind all the others and I told her it may never get one on in time. Boy was I wrong, this plant was only 250 sq.ft at the most and no side vine were buried but the first 2 side vines. It went very heavy around 18 percent over chart.She can pick em.
