I,m happy i,ve finally realised that all pumpkins require to be kept WARM even if the plant itself is subject to cooler weather. I covered my pumpkin with a cheesecloth blanket folded over 3 times, and an anti frost sheet, which ( I think) helped keep the core tempreature of the pumpkin at a growing level. Lesson ended for today:)
