GRAARRGGHH!!!! The split continued to widen! Got into the main cavity too. Blast.
Well it may be DMG, but I have seen a few at least be saved to become jack-o-lanterns later on Halloween.
What I have seen done on this site, is caking in silicone, and that is exactly what I did. I used the type for kitchens and bathrooms.
I left the captain and daconil on, I figured if some fungiced got trapped under the silicone it could not hurt anything.
We will see if she keeps growing. I may have to keep cramming more of it in there, but I will still have a pumpkin.
Silicone. Organic Gardening at its best.
