I added 3/4 cup of potash today. I got all the leftover oak ashes in the bottom of my father-in-law's woodburning stove and spread it out thin around the plant. I sprayed it with a hand sprayer to keep it in place as I spread it and then I watered and misted to make sure it didn't blow away later. Hopefully this will kick the fruit-growing into another gear without blowing out.
