Sorry to everyone who has been keeping up with my dairy! I have been very busy with my summer internship as the Program Director at the Clearfield YMCA. I was pretty much caught up in the patch before Kevin, his dad, and I went on a trip to West Virginia for a Pontiac Car Show but after our return, I won't lie, I haven't really been doing much in the patch other than picking mass amounts of weeds and removing tertiary vines that grew out of control while we were away. My spots in the patch seem to be a mess right now. My 1st 1236 Harp (July 7th)pollination aborted so I now have a bowling ball size pumpkin that is growing well and will hopefully grow larger than Kevin's. My boat regatta pumpkin is doing well. I'm really excited to see how it turns out!! It is a perfect canoe shape!! I can't wait for Cooperstown!! So my fingers are crossed at hoping all continues to goes well with it! My 1544 Revier is doing good as well! Although, my biggest problem is I need to cut off my other pumpkins growing on the vine so that my main pumpkin can grow bigger! I have realized growing 3 pumpkins is hard and a lot of work especially with the job I have and will have as soon as I graduate from Slippery Rock! Next summer I will only be growing one pumpkin! So that's the update for now!! Hopefully I'll get some good work in this week and have an update of pictures by the weekend!! Stay tuned....
