here is a nice pic of tomato row at twilight. hoping the fungicides sprays and calcium/micronutirient drenches get rid of the blackened blossom ends on the 2 biggest plants to the right. one is 12' and the other 13' tall as this is looking up over a 6' fence. both have small tomatoes at 9' and higher so far that look ok with no megablooms, but once they get cue ball size they blacken out. still trying and maybe get one or 2 good ones for later competitions way up high as i will add extensions if needed to get a good one on each plant. the 3 shorter plants all have tomatoes on them and have not shot as tall since setting and keeping the bigger ones. and by short the shortest is 8' and has slumped down and spiraled with growth or it would be just as tall as the others. they have been fun all season and all my friends are hooked into the world of ginat vegetable growing and reports of softball size tomatoes keep coming in from the bobby's tap riff raff.
