I took away Alice's tea towel yesterday, and covered her with a sheet. She's growing nicely, about 10# per day. Got a long haul until July 29. Don't think 200 pounds on top of her 125 will quite make a record on this one. Several other nice pumpkins starting, for later, though. Also, I have a lot of mottled looking leaves. I've been watching for squash bugs and cucumber beetles, and though I saw a couple of cuke beetles today, and will spray tomorrow again, it looks like more damage than the available bugs would make. another mystery.
