here is a pic of tomato row with all plants 8-9 feet except the brutus magnus which slipped dowm the pole a bit with weight but no cracking of the stalk, (similar to a spring) is at 7' tall. i had to remaove 2 gordon graham keepers of the cluster that were between 5 and 6 feet due to blossom rot. got one up higher on it and plenty of flowers at 8 to 9 feet. tomato plants are getting some daconil tonight. i have a small one of a solid keeper of a cluster on each plant and just found a mega bloom double fused at 7' on big zac #2 and another megabloom double fused on the 5.58 at 7'. gonna add more extensions and then stabilize all the top poles with wire to the fence. what the hell, i will put an aluminum ladder back in the corner at see what these things can do height wise. the stlak on big zac# is garden hose size at 6 feet in the air so i am hoping to get a keeper on it that doesn't split early or get some blossom end rot. with it on 2 plants, the daconil will go on the heavy side tonight and i will drench calcium around the plants and foliar with some vcp 0-13-0 thrown in with the daconil. and hopefully stop the blackened blossoms from showing up again.
