Burried all vines and took down all hoop house plastic. That was an incredibly messy job; I was thankful nobody stopped by for a visit today because I was looking pretty rough...Pollinated three 5 lobe flowers on the 1164 with the 1467. One on the main, then the other two on secondaries. I noticed a crack in the main 12" before the flower that has me worried. It's an interesting plant: everything about it is BIG. Big leaves and stems, big vines, big tendrils (they're really freaky looking), but the main vine continues to give me problems. Maybe one of the secondaries will be luckier. I also pollinated a 3 lobe flower on the 1502 with the 1164. It's at 16 feet out. I'm not too enthusiastic about a 3-lober, but there is another one at the growing tip that'll be ready pretty soon. I fertilized with the 4-3-3 and did a foliar/drench of kelp today.
