After a very slow start, the plants are finally starting to take off! Other Ontario growers already have a pollination or two. My best plants are out about 8'. Best plants are 546 Wells*, 785 VIncent McGill* and 1161 Rodonis. The 1236* that I brok off the main vine is going with a new main, but only out about 30" or so. The 1421 Stelts is really poor, but picking up. The 1339 V/M is looking good also.

Applied a soil drench of Fish, molasses, Actinovate and Azos to about 2/3 of the patch. I used a tow behind sprayer for this, but used the wand. It worked really well.

Started the first batch of compost tea today.

Applied second general application of Roundup to the patch.

Started vine burrying today and was able to get cought right up. Applying a generous amount of a combination of RTI innoculant, Granualar humic acid, root shield and JumpStart, to each node. Removing all tendralls and burried the main vine completly

Male flowers showing up on 549* and 785*, with small females at 7-8'.

Mutant 901 Hunt is looking like it will grow out of the ribbon vine, after minor surgury earlier in the week.
