i decided to get the tape out and see what is doing on the little ones at 7.5 days this evening. the 991 at 14' is 16" at 7.5 days and looks healthy, has a nice stem, and is in a very nice location. the next one down the line is just about laid down and and still looks good at this point. the third one gets pollinated tomorrow morning. the 1147 at 12.5' at 7.5 days old is at 19.5" circ. and looks good barring a couple of peculiar small raised pimple bumps. the next one down the line at 16' has laid down and is a big freak early on too. the third one at 19.5' got the blossom top snapped off when my stupid ass tripped on a spaghetti tube and it close lined the female taking its top off before it had a chance to open. doh. the fourth one at 23' will be open in a few days but i have my heart set on the 12.5 footer and have already began moving it slowly closer to a 90 degree angle off the main. the 873 at 14' is 5 days old today and looks nice and will most likely be the one as it is in a perfect spot in the honey hole of the patch and has laid down nicely and looks slightly ahead of the pace the 991 is growing at.
