Late yesterday I noticed the row cover over the Grande 895 had blown partially off and some critter had eaten part of the leaves. I think it was a rabbit. I've been putting the row cover to ward off this kind of incident. Fortunately it didn't eat the whole plant so I think it will recover. When the plants get bigger, I think the rabbits won't be interested in the leaves. I have to reinforce the gates where I think rabbits can get under to get in the patch.
