While I didnt take a picture of me bending over to salute the Honesdale/Dyberry crew, I did want to make today "national monkey on your back" day with a pic of Ned not only with a monkey on his back, but a monkey on his monkey's back. This has gotten serious.
Sam decided to go wtih the 848 MacKenzie when he went down to his main plant, even after the whipping it took from a torn cloche. We discussed it and told him even though the 848 was half the size of the 1154 Hilstolsky, the genetics and color of the 848 will be much better off in the long run. We did try and transplant the 1154 to the other side of the patch, and 2 weeks later is seemed to have worked. Some die back, but alive and kickin..
