pollinated the number 2 1147 at 16' with 4 991 males. it was a 4 lober that was almost perfectly symetrical. and self pollinated the number 2 on the 991 at 17' with 5 991 males. 4 lober with smaller spread out lobes. last night i cut off the semi slimey parts of the blossoms of the first 991 and 1147s pollinated 3 days ago, placed captan on them and put a fan on them. they look good this morning totally dry and healed and the fans will blow all day today and keep them dry. the 1st 1147 is a big mutha and was the biggest i seen on a pollination day of any female i have ever seen. on day 3 today it has already laid down on the ground. it is long and looks just like the mama 1147 female at that stage. hopefully it continues to grow. the 991 pollinated 3 days ago is still in the air and is getting bigger too and still is shiney which is a good sign. it will be helped down a little with a styrofome block behind it to lean on to ease it down. the petals of the 873 pollinated yesterday were removed today and all petals will be removed the following day from here on out from the lesson learned on the first 2 pollinations. too humid lately to leave petals on 2 days in a row.
