I took an OTT measurement at noon and again at 6:00 pm.. if my measurements are correct there was a 4 lb gain in 6 hours! and 14 lbs in 24 hrs! HOLY SH*T BATMAN! Thats a grand total of **drum roll please** da da dadumm..... 87 lbs! woohoo! :) **Snoopy happy dance**
Ok all sillyness aside... the blossom end is dry and firm, Im hoping thats a good sign but Im keeping the fan and captan just in case. Im beginning to see some faint yellowing of the leaves. Im using fish/seaweed mixed with 20-20-20 foliar spray once a week. I wonder if theres more I should be adding, but at the same time I worry about adding too much. I put down another 50 lbs of sand and made a bigger 'bed' the pumpkin has gotten so big I dont dare try to move it anymore, the vine angle is as good as Im gonna get. Its been mercilessly hot with more in the forecast, but the leaves are holding up pretty well in the heat with VERY little flagging. Ok, thats all for now :)
