I just thought it would be interesting to show how Stuart and I work out our feeding for the pumpkins and onions. If we grow for instance Poinsettias for Christmas, we have three different feeds, early, mid and late. Because we have grown them for years we know exactly what they need at all stages. The pumpkins and onions are a little different because we don’t have enough data so we send a soil sample off regularly to see what is going on in the soil. So here is a good example of an onions sample You can see that the Potassium and Nitrogen are a little low which also reflects in a low EC
