Pumpkins are a warm-weather crop, the specific conditions necessary for growing pumpkins require that soil temperatures three inches (7.62 centimeters) deep are at least 60. Letting my plant sit outside during a light steady rain. Suppose to have been mid 60's but temp. only 57 and 3/10" rain in 3 hours, time to bring Gino (pumpkins name short for ginormous) in soon.
