Meat, here is your pony in the race that should be laid completely down by this weekend or sooner. ain't she pretty!! she is throwing out a couple of them weird stump leaves that i will prune off here soon while still small. i may have to whack a leaf or 2 to get this one laid down. she has a lot of energy from that first true sunshine in about 5 days yesterday. some massive leaves already and a quickly widening stump. she has some power that with some good luck i can harness in the right direction. you can see my condensation drips from the heaters running all day today on this crappy rainy 57 degree day. got some weeding to get done too since i 'f'd off all day fishing for crappie in the a.m. yesterday and watching the blackhawks kick some shark tail in the afternoon and then playing darts all night long. we got 10 crappie but only one of keeping size about 10" that we threw back at the end of the day. nice sunny morning on the lake was nice. then the blackhawks looked shaky the first 10 minutes and got their acts together nicely and played like they should and we got a nice road victory. and i won 2 games with my buddy for 20 bucks a man team darts. that free 40 bucks went right back into bar with 10 jagerbombs for a hawks celebratory toast. great day.
