Hiding from squash bugs! LOL
Ok seriously, I put up silt fence yesterday but put it too far away from the vine. I planned to put up a second barrier closer but ran out of daylight. I also planned to add posts between the stakes, the rebar is temporary. This morning I wake up to horrible winds and whipping leaves. The rebar was ripping holes in the silt fence, a 2 liter soda bottle fixed that. To protect the vine I grabbed the first thing I could find, camouflage deer stand cover. If ever there was any doubt about my being a Tennessee Hillbilly, this pic should confirm it! LOL
I left the hoop frame up because the weather man predicts a 45 degree night this week. Ive got to re-till the patch. The flooding and then blistering heat have packed it down :(
