The 696 Holder has sprouted a root this morning.
I also got a very big surprise yesterday evening when I checked on their progress. Some of the seeds that I thought were ruined because of my mistake, suddenly sprouted ! Last Sat. morning when I dumped the pots (with the starter mix I tainted) and got the bad seeds out, I soaked them in some water for a few minutes to try to rinse them and maybe rehydrate the dried up root.I never thought it would help them because they were so bad.I wish I took pics to show just how bad they were. After they soaked in the water a while I put them into some new starter mix.I put a special label on them saying "restart", so I did not get them confused with my other 648 I started. To my surprise, the 837.5 Pukos and the 648 young came back to life. They are both up and looking good.I think I may put both 648's in the same hoop and keep the stronger one.
