doug, here is how i quickly set up the 5 gallon bucket set up with the 2 hand warmers taped to the bottom and the thermometere taped upside down so the probe reads the air temp and not the soil temp. i will report back to you on the message board doug. this set up may come in handy if i put in my tomato plants and we get one more unexpected subfreezing night in later may.
