I am glad to see that Rocky is alive and well and fully healed from his bout with the Swine Flu. I wish you the best Rock, well at least second best! I started my seeds on the traditional April 19th. I had a better germination rate than most years but unfortunately did lose some world class seeds in particular the 1231 Pukos didn't make it, sorry Joe. A 1557 Hilstosky developed a club root and also wont make the big dance. Rock's crying must have been too much for Matt Teeter to take and he did tell him that I have a nice 1302 Teeter showing early promise. Wouldn't that be something if my first 1000 pound pumpkin came from the Sayre area !!! I have started lots of seeds with still more in their germination sanctuary. I have some seeds from the Dyberry Patch guy to go in as well as a few for friends and backups to save. My basement wall has been turned into the birthing room. I have repotted once and it won't be long before these guys need to hit the dirt. Maybe this weekend as the temperatures look good in northeastern Pa.
