OK, the season is not lost...Ron B. is procuring a 1467 plant and starting a 1502 for me, and then I'll just look at my back-ups to find a suitable 4th plant. I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief after getting Ron's e-mail! I was SO sad that I lost my 1502! And the 1467 is an awesome plant that was so easy to grow. My husband literally ran it over with the truck and the tractor during a harvest last year, and it still kept on chugging along, making 2 400+ pounders on the same vine.
