after a light dusting of captan, the seeds went into the 5" pots with pre-heated seed starter mix along with pumpkin pro mych fungi incorporated in. fingers crossed now on the 901 and 991 to sprout. if they do not, no biggie and the back up 901 and 991 will then get their chance. i found the quart size freezer bags fit nice and snug on the 5" pots after removing the plastic zip closer and stretching out the corners a bit. the combinmation of plastic bags over the pots as well as the 7" tall humidity domes have been very successful for the past 6 years, so no sense changing things now. the only thing different this year is 5" pots instead of 4" that i used to use. you can see the thermometer in the one pot up front in the left tray. it is at seed level so i can adjust the thermostat accordingly and tweak it a bit as needed and correlate it to the calibrated thermometer. now its gonna be a nervous few days of the waiting game. lol. i love this time of year!!!!
