Well I started out alright and now I'm having a rough time. I lost one plant, not sure what I did, but I was fortunate to have another seed from the same pumpkin. Seed has come up and will be put out in a few days. Another plant broke in a wind storm. I layed it back over and covered the area with dirt and it seems to be doing alright. I 'm not sure if I'm wasting my time with it but I'm giving it a chance. I went ahead and started another seed just in case it dies.
Saw my 1st cuke beetle a couple of days ago (at least I thought it was one) and then it died. I sprayed today with a weak solution of Bifen XTS and Daconil. Just trying to get an early start. Will post some pictures later.
