as said in the message boards, the weigh in was not the best, but they got it right in the end.
mine came in at 330kgs and am stoked with that, as last years one was only 70kg.
looking forward to the next season.
i never got to meet any of the other growers as we were an hours drive away from the venue, so we dropped it off on the thursday and collected it on the following tuesday, with alsorts of other things to do in between.
i will really have to work out a better lifting device for next season also.
i did get some photos emailed to me from the show... posted below.
the big grey is sitting behind my one, i hope to get a better picture of it,...... i wish i was able to see in real life.
anyway, we had lots of fun growing it, and the local community seems to have pumpkin fever, so there might be a few more competitors next season.
