This is a new patch for me. I will be growing with my good pumpkin buddy Jim (Duster) who has generously allowed me to grow right next to his patch. We amended the soil last fall with lots of leaves and manure and also adjusted the pH. Jim grew a cover crop but I wasn't able to because I had so many leaves that needed to compost over the winter.
Not to often you see a pumpkin patch with full utility hook ups. None the less, there it is. I can work around it. Let the tilling begin.
