Spent this weekend levelling a base for my water storage tanks and getting them in place. This area was sloped so we removed some dirt and made a base of sand and screenings. They are in a little nook on the south west corner of my house that was useless space. If you look on my satellite image, this area is between my neighbours red roofed garage and my blue hot tub. It works out perfectly because the newly built shed is right next to the tanks and it will house my pump and other irrigation components. 80% of my 1600 sq' roof area drains through one 4x4" down spout which drains directly into the main tank. Once all 5 tanks are hook up together the water level will rise @ the same rate in each. (like one huge 2600 gallon tank)
