Spread 50 pounds of humic acid throughout the garden today. Each planting site got 5 lbs. of kelp meal, 2 cu. feet of secret stuff, and 1 cu. foot of chicken manure (composted). Tomorrow is cow manure-spreading-day, then I'll get a soil sample. I have determined that my Puyallup Fair pumpkin plant will be the 1449.5 Traylor. I'm going to take a chance and set it out 1-2 weeks earlier than the rest, gambling my soil heating cables and cloche will keep it safe.
