The onions are doing well and now, the roots are settling down I’m beginning to see some real quality growth. In the last couple of weeks I have been giving them a very light feed of ammonium nitrate which was the only element they were a little short of when I planted them out. I will be sending a soil sample out in the middle of Feb. to see how the balance is and if I do that every month, should be able to keep it right for the whole year.
