Hello! This is my first online diary for my 2010 pumpkin! I've tried to include a picture of my 2009 pumpkin, "Jasper", which was my first attempt at growing a giant pumpkin. He ended up weighing 305 pounds, which is find with me. I started the seeds outdoors, and after reading Don Langevin's book, I'm tallying all the things I could have done to grow a bigger one! I'm excited for this years seed, which is from the 1689, Joe Jutras of 2007. I probably can't break too many records, since I'm at 1,200 ft. elevation, and even in the summer, our nights get cool, but I'm ready to break my own personal record this year!
