Its been a tough couple of weeks down here in my patch. Basically 2 weeks of overcast drizzly weather thats making mildew the only thing growing well.
I have 2 pumpkins growing on secondaries on my early plants due to man made disaters on the fruit on the mains. The biggest at this stage has a 75" circ on day 21 on the 1119 McMullen it made 23 lbs today (th first full day of sunshine). The other is on a self sown plant which is makin 60 circ on day 18.
My last hopes for a big one are on the 1062 stelts, this pic is of one pollinated 6 days ago and there is also another one that I pollinated yesterday both on the main.
Fingers crossed for these babies.
