Well I carved the smaller of my 2 pumpkins this weekend. I will post a pic of the completed article after the closing date of the carving competition.
The pumpkin had a seed count of 450. Lovely large seeds compared to what I grew last year. Average length of seed was 30mm but I suppose this shrinks once dry.
On Halloween night the pumpkin with carving went on loan to a family/friends Halloween party for display. Then Sunday morning I chopped it all up to weigh on the bathroom scales. Having already weighed all the carved flesh the total weight of the est.333 turned out to be an UOW of 354.6lb. 6.5% heavy. So, the 675 and 354.6 grown on the 936Raymont came to a total of 1029.6lb.
