My 1483 Werner on left, Kyle Rox's 728 in middle and Dori's 1524 Liggett on the right. Our pkns have been on display at Basin Nursery, Vernal,UT for almost 2 weeks. They were in the "Guess the Weight" Contest. We went to the weight off to determine the contest winners. Guesses on my 732 pkn ranged from 1400 to 155 lbs with the closest of 735 lbs. Dori's 524 pkn had guesses ranging from 1250 to 123, closest guess was 521 lbs. Basin Nursery will sponsor a growing class next spring and an AG weight off and other events in the fall of 2010. We thank them for their support to encourage growing of AGs in the Uintah Basin. Kenny Blair, Utah State AG record holder at 1104 lbs has agreed to help with the growing class. Kenny look out the Uintah Basin growers are after your record!
