This has been one of the most busiest falls in my life, but probably the most enjoyable as well. My two sons are doing very well on their football teams and the season is still going. It has however made it really tough to keep up with other fun stuff, like maintaining a diary on Bigpumpkins. So here will be a season recap. This pumpkin is from our own 695 Young seed and is crossed with the 1385 Jutras. My wife chose this pumpkin as our fair pumpkin due to the color potential. It taped 600 pounds when we harvested it on August 28th and it weighed in at 648 pounds. It was still doing 20 pounds a day when we picked it.
