923 pounds and 7% heavy! 3rd place for pumpkins at Longwood. My squash on the 1055.5 Pitura went 11% heavy at 668 pounds and got 2nd place. We had a great time dispite the weather and got to meet the world record holder Christy Harp along with chatting with the legend Dave Stelts who destroyed the competition with his 1400+ monster. Another highlight was Tim Rosa smashing through the 700 pound barrier his first year out going 20% heavy! A big thanks is in order to Tim and all of my friends who helped to get these things loaded up safely.
