Purtroppo nell'ultima settimana la zucca è stata colpita da un attacco di marciume al gambo, che si è diffusso rapidamente fino alla polpa. Cure con zolfo, calce e talco non sono bastate per fermare il male. Peccato perchè era molto bella e avrebbe potuto fare altre gare.
