Finally, I hope last night was the last of the 40 degree nights in these parts til October, at least. I've been covering pumpkins up at night time, and some very heavy dew in the mornings almost feels like Fall! YUCK! Things are finnally drying out here and warming up into the upper 70's and no rain in sight til sometime next week. Bring on the pounds! More photos to come over the long holiday weekend.

Did a fertilizer run last night in the patch, fungicide and bug spray and covered the pumpkins. By then it's dark at 8:00, I hate this time of year when it gets dark so much earlier. Gone are the days of 9pm and still light enough to see. Summer? Where? I didn't see enough of it this year....
