what's the best way to hold the tyvek tight to the house for a Pollock...jumper cables of coarse out your living room window!!!!! and no that is not another Polish joke. it's called, "makin' do". i wanted to easily remove this sealed vented section when it gets sunny and too hot, so i left the tyvek attached to the roll, draped it over the cables and used more cinder blocks as weights on each side to hold it in place. the last step was to keep it tight to the house. the jumper cables "jumped" out at me while walking through the garage. why not. i am part Irish too, so i will call this greenhouse experiment, "the Polish McGuiver Trials". you can see in this pic some of the 4 mil visqueen i left in place under the 6 mil that is hanging lower in spots. it never touches the plants. the first 3 rows of the 1161 on this side of the house are getting shaded on one side of the plant from the tyvek, but i am not as concerned with the 1161 as i am with the 1385. that blurry section of missing leaves is where i lost the 7 leaves to the sagging 4 mil plastic in the rain. no worries though as this is all just trial and error to see what will work in years to come.
