Fall melons are not doing much and not sure why. Plants look OK but gains have really slowed and I may be lucky to get a 110 pounder to Anamosa. Fall pumpkins are gaining slow but have not lost one yet. Est. are 487 pounds on the 688 plant. 641 pounds on the 1457 Paton plant but have one on a side vine now at est. 250 pounds to keep one on main from splitting. The 1209 Kuhn plants pumpkin is at est 606 pounds. The 1279 Barlow is at est. 900 pounds.
My long gourds are still gaining at 85,85 and 80 on the 111 Urena plant for the newest ones. The longest old one is over 110-113 now somewhere just can not get a good measurement of it till we pick it in a week or so.
