We had 4 tenth of a inch of rain last night. I am glad I was able to throw some ammonium sulfate and potash down when I got home from work. Last night 6:20 pm while canning dill pickles I looked out the kitchen door just in time to see a decent size black bear strolling through our yard, about 40 yards from the house. Had to do a visual on the patch this morning just in case he decided to come back and play with the pumpkins last night. Everything looks fine. Today Deb and I are headed to Ag Progress Days, PA's summer agriculture show just west of State College.
