"it" on day 53 this morning is 382" ott and estimated at 1166 lbs. 15 pounds a day for the last 3 days in the best growing weather possible shows that this one is in the maturing stage and on the decline. i am hoping for long term continual growth over the next 49 days. i am not gonna do anything different to my schedule than what i have done the whole time, which is trust my soil and water thoroughly. pushing it now with ferts is silly in my eyes. i have received some awesome emails from fellow growers rooting me on and it is much appreciated. i would love to try to gain 302 more pounds out of this one and have a shot going to the scales at a chance at the illinois record of 1468. what ever it does from here on out is all good. it has brought me more joy this year of all my years growing these giants. i hope she can make it the distance and hit the scale in 7 weeks from today.
