Massima: Nelle lande desolate della piana di Lucca non piove ormai da diverse settimane e il torrido caldo è a tratti agghiacciante! La pianta con questo clima "orribilis" ha accusato quasi di schianto, forse anche colpa della troppa acqua che gli ho dato. Negli ultimi giorni "l'enorme" peponide sta intensificando il suo bel color arancio, segno che il suo tempo sta per finire è da adesso in poi penserà solo a maturare e a riposarsi prima delle gare che l'aspettano in autunno.
