No 1 fruit continues to flourisg and increased to 188 inches OTT or a 5 inch + overnight. I expect much more over the next week, which will be warm and humid. I fed plant last night and will foliar feed tonight.
No 2 is still growing, but I must make a decision on when to cull it and give the No 1 the maximum growth possible.
Met with Eugene Brady yesterday, another very competitive grower, and he has a beautiful squash, which measures in at 224 Ott, or 246lbs, and some smaller pumpkins, one which has stem rot, and another which is smaller than mine, but still growing also.
