I've been busy putting on races...but now they are over! Now it is time to get down to some serious pumpkin growing. Here is the fruit on my 1041 McKie at day 32 measuring 107x77x77=261" or an estimated 363 pounds (on a several-year-old chart). I'm calling this one "the Great White Hope." If it can go 25 pounds a day for the next eight days it will be sitting pretty to become a 1000 pounder. Its too bad that in 2009 a thousand pounder is like an eight hundred pounder from about three years ago.
