"it" will get 3 day measurements from here on out to track any significant drops in weight. if i see a significant average weight drop after a 3 day measurement, i will return to a drench fertilizer program and contemplate foliar feeding and or compost tea. for now it is still plain ole' water, the soil and the sun like it has been since the middle of june. "it" averaged 39.3 pounds per day over the last 3 days and is 142.5 cc 86 ss 83 sb = 311.5 ott and an estimated weight of 638 lbs on day 33. definately unchartered territories for me at this stage. used duct tape to hold measuring tape around the pumpkin as it has past that point. getting harder to control my silly brain....a lot of wondering, calculating, worrying as each storm approaches, and checking under the sheet each day is fun to see the growth, but nail bitting to say the least.
