Catching up today after my son Seth's graduation party last Saturday. He's off to Penn State for accounting August 21. Also 3 inches of rain in 2 1/2 hours on Thursday night. Pictured is a path of destruction that almost wiped out the first pumpkin on my 526 Jessell plant, this is my largest.
I had a culled pumpkin from my 1154 Doucet up on the hill in the wheel barrow with other compost. I was headed to the woods, the wheel barrow tipped and the Doucet rolled all the way down the hill through the patch missing the Jessell pumpkin by 6 inches and ending up in the run!
