Got weeds under control finally today. Cousins came over and spent some time tilling the patch weeds down, looks much better now. We must have picked about 5 or 6 trailer loads of weeds today from previous weed pulling. Looks much better. Also got some edge fencing in between the plants to mark the spaces a little better, and got mill fabric underneath 3 of the 4 pumpkins tonight. Ran out of sand to finish the fourth one off. All pumpkins are about grapefruit size or so. Behind from last year, but considering the late start and the cold wet temperatures, I'll take it. Progress!
