Problems downloading pictures so no more mountains for a spell. Have increased the watering in the pkn patch to 3 times a day. Dori noticed her biggest daily increase to day on her 1040 LaRue. She say she now has her PB. She was claiming a 100 lbs that she grew with Big Mac pkns. I told her she couldn't count it till she got it to the scales. She is way ahead of me so I guess it is time to get after it. I have culled to 1 pkn on each of my plants. Dori still has a set on a lateral on her 1066 McKie. The lateral that she grew to replace broken main has a good set on it so she will probably cull the bigger pkn on the lateral. It is bigger than anything I have on my plants. She is spending much more time tending her 3 plants than I do but believe that I have the plants to give a good run for her money. Have terminated almost all the laterals on my plants and growing space is filled up. It is time to grow pumpkins "not salad".
